In September 2025, I published The Dark Cold Hand of Capricorn 2025, outlining some of the issues we could expect in the Capricorn nano-age decan and overflow (April 2025 – September 2025 – February 2026), but specifically focused upon the second half (September 2025 – February 2026). Is this Capricorn period one of the astrological correlations behind the recent December 2025 Bondi massacre?
A common feature of Capricorn periods is that they can bring bad news to anything. For example, the sinking of the Titanic in April 2012 occurred in a Capricorn nano-age overflow (February 2012 – May 2013). Capricorn, like all signs, is a mixture of good and bad archetypes. The summary of some recent Capricorn periods provides the following insights. We can expect the same in the Capricorn nano-age decan overflow (September 2025 – February 2026).
Wars & Power Struggles: Russia, Middle East, China and Islamic conflicts.
Disasters: Major hurricanes, train crashes, blackouts, pandemics.
Conservative/Reactionary Movements: Religious, nationalist, or authoritarian assertions of power.
Science & Structure: Big discoveries, systemic changes
I believe a good argument can be made that the Bondi attack in Australia on 14 December 2025, with 14 people murdered plus one assialant is associated with the Capricorn nano-age decan overflow (September 2025 – February 2026). Furthermore, Capricorn is a key player in Australia’s astrological signature, with Capricorn and Sagittarius the two key components. This probably provided the astrological context for the location of the attack in Australia.
The context of this Capricorn period is important. It is occurring within a Libra micro-age decan overflow (Nov 2024 – Nov 2029) and Libra is associated with most of the major conflicts and wars of the last 500 years. The world is currently in a strong war and conflict zone – the strongest that nearly all people in the world today will experience in their lives. This Libra period is located within the Cancer micro-age and overflow (2000 – 2014 – 2029), which symbolically commenced with the 9/11 attack in the USA in 2001, resulting in much turmoil in Cancer-aligned Middle East and Islamic countries, including the Arab Spring, ISIS, and the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban.
Cancer also empowered China’s spectacular rise to a world power as the two key signs for China are Cancer and Libra. This Libra period is especially powerful as it resonates with the Libra sub-age (1970 – 2149) and the Libra age decan (1433 – 2149), which are rapidly approaching their fruition point in 2149 and will be even more powerful in their overflow periods up to 2865. Libra-aligned China is empowered for this millennium.
Cancer also promotes border disputes, exemplified by China’s claims over Taiwan, Russia over Ukraine, Israel over Palestine, Thailand versus Cambodia, plus numerous African border incursions, etc. Capricorn countries that may rise to prominence in the short term for better or worse include: India, Israel, Russia, United Kingdom and incidents involving major mountains, oppressive laws that curtail democratic freedoms, favoritism towards the rich elite, aggression towards and by Islamic associated groups, major shipping accidents (Venuzealan vessels), suppression and oppression of the (Cancer) general public and the general public is in a bad mood or feeling insecure. Of course, the (Cancer) Middle East is a powder keg under Cancer’s opposite sign, Capricorn. Cancer remains powerful until the end of the decade and places a focus on (Cancer) Middle East, Islamic nations, and China.
Capricorn is also a key sign for Israel and Judaism, placing Israel and Judaism in 7th house mode to Cancer, and accordingly it is vulnerable to attack and can be equally inclined to be on the attack in a Cancer period. Capricorn is also one of two key signs in Australia’s astrological signature, shared with “she’ll be right, mate” Sagittarius. So, while the combination of Capricorn, Libra and Cancer are readily aligned to the Bondi attack, to predict such an attack would be extremely difficult and nigh on impossible due to the large number of combinations and permutations that were in play.
From my perspective, the Bondi attack is an example of the dark cold hand of Capricorn. We are leaving Capricorn in February 2026 and replacing it with the full force of the Virgo nano-age overflow (Feb 2026 – May 2027). Pisces archetypes need to beware of the approaching opposition from Virgo. In the first half of the Age of Aquarius (1433 – 3581), the most powerful sign in the world is Pisces, so Virgo has its work cut out. Pisces is also the key sign for the USA and Europe.
POSTSCRIPT
Astrological ages (approximately 2150 years each) can be divided into 12 sub-ages (approxroximately 178 years each), which can be further divided into 12 micro-ages (almost 15 years each) and these can be divided into 12 nano-ages (15 months each). All these periods also have their respective decans, so the nano-ages have three nano-age decans (of almost 5 months each). One such 5-month nano-age decan is the Capricorn nano-age decan and overflow (Apr 2025 – Sep 2025 – Feb 2026) with its more powerful second half (Sep 2025 – Feb 2026) aligned to the Bondi attack. A nano-age decan is the smallest viable period that I employ with the astrological ages.
However, I have tentatively ventured deeper with my research, and I have infrequently examined the 1/12th of nano-ages, which I call pica ages of approximately 5 weeks each. Though I don’t promote the viability of these incredibly small pica ages or use them in predictions, I do sometimes notice their correlations to events. In the case of the Bondi attack, it occurred in a Scorpio pica age overflow (Dec 2025 – Jan 2026), and Scorpio is the sign of terrorism and terrorist attacks. The Bondi attack also occurred in the last week of the Scorpio lunar month (20 Nov – 20 Dec 2025).
It may surprise many to discover that the Lindt Café siege of 15-16 December 2014 in Sydney also occurred in the last week of a Scorpio lunar month and a Scorpio nano-age decan overflow (May 2014 – Dec 2014). Also, the Port Arthur massacre of 28 April 1996 occurred under the influence of a Scorpio full moon, with the understanding that every full moon rules the week before and after the actual full moon (i.e., when 50% or more of the moon is illuminated as seen from Earth). This event also occurred within a Scorpio nano-age (Mar 1995 – May 1996). Scorpio lunar months or full moons, when combined with a Scorpio sub-period of an astrological age, appear to be dangerous – especially in Australia. The curious idiosyncrasy of this observation is that the Scorpio of the lunation cycle is based on the tropical zodiac, whereas the ages and their subperiods are based on a sidereal zodiac. Despite this clash of zodiacs, the different zodiacs appear to work with each other.
2025 includes a Capricorn nano-age decan and overflow (April 2025 – September 2025 – February 2026) that peaks in September 2025 and expresses its maximum power in its overflow period (September 2025 – February 2026). The last Capricorn period of note was the Capricorn nano-age and overflow (Dec 2019 – Feb 2021 – June 2022), and despite that earlier Capricorn period being three times stronger and longer than the current Capricorn nano-age decan, it can still provide insights into what any Capricorn periods attract. This will then be combined with republishing details of previous small Capricorn periods to broaden the depth of research.

A common feature of Capricorn periods is that they can bring bad news to anything. For example, the sinking of the Titanic in April 1912 occurred in a Capricorn nano-age overflow (Feb 1912 – May 1913). Ships are associated with Cancer, so in any Capricorn period, (Cancer) ships are in perilous territory.
Nano-age decans can operate independently, or combine their energy with a more powerful period, such as a micro-age decan etc. This is the case with the 9/11 attack on the USA. The major mover and shaker there was the Cancer micro-age (Feb 2000 – Dec 2014), which placed (Cancer) Muslim, Middle East and Chinese issues at the top of the totem pole. The Gemini nano-age overflow (May 2001 – August 2002) provided the archetypal relationship to Gemini, specifically the attack on the ‘twin towers’. In addition, Gemini sits at the 12th house position to Cancer, the sign associated with Islam and the Middle East. The 12th house brings problems, especially ‘self-made’ problems, and the Muslim world has suffered, one way or another, ever since.
Nano-age decans, and nano-ages in general, do not define world events – but they do color what is there. It is the 5-year micro-age decans that seem to dominate the world reality at any time, though the micro-age decan overflows are more potent than their period proper. To understand the astrological ages is akin to entering a hall of mirrors. The macro-astrology ephemeris will provide details on all periods from 5-month nano-age decans all the way up to 2150-year ages. However, for every age and sub-period, there is a mirror overflow period that follows. For example, the Pisces age (715 BC – 1433 AD) has its mirror Pisces age overflow (1433 AD – 3581), which is the same period as the Age of Aquarius. Similarly, the world, when it is in the Capricorn nano-age (May 2025 – Sep 2025), will demonstrate unfolding events with some having a connection to Capricorn archetypes, but the Capricorn nano-age overflow (Sep 2025 – Feb 2026) is more potent in Capricorn archetypes. To understand macro-astrology, the overflow hall of mirrors must be understood.
Capricorn, like all signs, is a mixture of good and bad archetypes, but Capricorn does lean further towards darkness than most signs Though the previous Capricorn nano-age and overflow is an order of magnitude larger than a nano-age decan (one third the size), the Capricorn nano-age decan overflow within the Capricorn nano-age and overflow will be examined for insights into the nature of Capricorn.

“Capricorn the Sea-goat is an Earth sign ruled by Saturn – the problematical task-master of the zodiac. Major themes associated with Capricorn include: hierarchy, time, public life and difficulties. All hierarchical arrangements such as India’s cast system, evolution of a ruling class, senior religious officials and heavily stratified societies are Capricorn archetypes. The measurement of time, calendars and many scientific endeavors are also included. Public life includes public officials, communal buildings such as temples and burial places and monuments including rocky outcrops. Monuments and temples may be a reflection of the fact that mountains are ruled by Capricorn and these monuments and temples are man-made mountains. In addition pottery and ceramics are Capricorn archetypes. Capricorn is also associated with harsh, difficult or frugal times and more often or not involves a small ruling classing lording over the common people (ruled by Capricorn’s opposite sign Cancer). Capricorn is a major sign associated with India and takes sub-rulership of south-eastern and central European countries. Any archetype associated with Capricorn’ opposite sign Cancer is in general lacking in Capricorn. So while priests and religious figures may be strong under Capricorn, actual religious emotional fervour is generally missing, but fundamentalist dogma is strong. Capricorn is the arch conservative sign.”
Capricorn nano-age decan overflow (Mar 2021 – Aug 2021)
Conservative Capricorn was on display in March 2021 when two key conservative influences in the world, Pope Francis andGrand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani met in Iraq. It was the first-ever meeting between a pope and a grand ayatollah, with both representing Capricorn. In the same month, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced his country’s withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention, the first country to do so. The Istanbul Convention is a human rights treaty of the Council of Europe opposing violence against women and domestic violence, which was introduced in May 2011, in Istanbul, Turkey. The convention aimed at the prevention of violence, victim protection and to end the impunity of perpetrators. Capricorn is often the carrier of bad news or conservative backwardness.
The cold dark hand of Capricorn was certainly on display in April 2021 when Russia warned NATO against sending any troops to aid Ukraine, amid reports of a large Russian military build-up on its borders. It seems wherever Russia goes, darkness follows, and this appears to be the case in April 2021 when the Czech government concluded that the Russian secret service (GRU) was responsible for the blast of two ammunition warehouses in Vrbětice in 2014. 18 Russian diplomats and alleged spies were subsequently expelled.
Trains are associated with Capricorn (as most likely is the wheel), and April 2021 saw the Hualien train derailment in Taiwan when an express train collided with a truck that rolled down a slope and derailed, resulting in 49 deaths and 202 injuries. In June 2021, the Ghotki rail crash in Pakistan occurred when 2 trains collided, killing 65 people and injuring 150 people.
The darkness spread when it was announced in April 2021, when Japan’s government approved the dumping of radioactive water from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean over the course of 30 years, with full support of the International Atomic Energy Agency. The decision was opposed by (Cancer) China, South Korea, and Taiwan. It wasn’t good news in August 2021 when the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released the first part of its Sixth Assessment Report, which concluded that the effects of human-caused climate change are now “widespread, rapid, and intensifying”.
Of course, there was also the darkness in the air from COVID-19, and in April 2021, it was announced that the global death toll from COVID-19 had surpassed 3 million, with extra millions added in just a matter of months. By November, the World Health Organization (WHO) convened an emergency meeting in Geneva amid concerns over Omicron, a highly mutated variant of COVID-19 first identified in South Africa that appears more infectious than Delta
Certainly, there is a volatile relationship between (Capricorn) Israel and (Cancer) Islam, and true to form for Israel, it hit the Gaza Strip in May 2021 with airstrikes as Hamas increased rocket fire. This followed tensions over the possible eviction of several Palestinians due to a long-standing property dispute in a neighborhood of East Jerusalem. Capricorn Israel is perpetually opposed to Cancer Islamic countries in the (Cancer) Middle East, especially during the Cancer micro-age and overflow (2000 – 2014 – 2029). Fighting between Israeli forces and Palestinian militants continued to escalate in the following month. An Israeli airstrike destroyed a high-rise office building in Gaza occupied by Associated Press, Al Jazeera, and other media outlets. A ceasefire commenced on May 20.
Capricorn’s dark hand even subdued the Olympic Games. Originally scheduled to take place from July to August 2020, the Tokyo Games were postponed until 2021 as a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the first such instance in the history of the Olympic Games. The events were largely held behind closed doors with no public spectators permitted due to the declaration of a state of emergency in response to the pandemic, the only Olympic Games to be held without official spectators. As a consequence of the postponement and the additional challenges caused by the pandemic, the 2020 Games were the most costly ever, with a total expenditure of over $20 billion.[1] Delay was not restricted to the Olympic Games.
Few people would have been overjoyed in August 2021 when the Taliban captured Kabul and the Afghan government surrendered to the Taliban, with a shadow falling over Afghanistan. A few days later, at least 182 people were killed, including 13 U.S. service members, in a suicide bomb attack at Kabul airport. In retaliation, the US launched an airstrike that it claimed killed the Islamic State perpetrator, but the US later acknowledged that the strike instead killed ten civilians, including seven children, and that no terrorists were killed.
Capricorn’s rulership of science is usually of positive consequences and was on display in July 2021 when the first direct observation of light from behind a black hole was reported, confirming Einstein’s theory of general relativity. Lead is ruled by Capricorn, so it is noteworthy that in August 2021, the UN Environment Programme announced that leaded petrol in road vehicles had been phased out globally, a hundred years after its introduction.
Many natural disasters can be linked to the hardship Capricorn introduces, and Hurricane Ida was a deadly and extremely destructive tropical cyclone in late August 2021 that became the second-most damaging and intense hurricane to make landfall in the U.S. state of Louisiana, behind Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. Ida was the sixth-costliest tropical cyclone on record, and the fifth-costliest Atlantic hurricane in the United States, having caused at least $US75.25 billion in damages.
Capricorn leaders were on notice in October 2021 when the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and assorted media partners published a set of 11.9 million documents leaked from 14 financial services companies known as the Pandora Papers, revealing offshore financial activities that involved multiple current and former world leaders. In October 2021, the Chancellor of Austria announced his resignation due to a corruption probe launched against him.
Perhaps Capricorn’s opposition to Cancer boats and canals was on display in March 2011 when one of the largest container ships in the world ran in the Suez Canal, disrupting global trade. Dark technology was on the rise, and it is noted that in July 2021, an international investigation revealed that spyware sold by Israel’s NSO Group to different governments is being used to target heads of state, along with thousands of activists, journalists and dissidents around the world.
Capricorn opposes Cancer, the prime sign for the Middle East and Islamic countries. In April 2021, Iran accused Israel of “nuclear terrorism” and vowed revenge after a large explosion destroyed the internal power system of the Natanz uranium enrichment plant. Borders are ruled by Cancer, so with Capricorn in opposition, it is noted that in April 2021 at least 55 people were killed and nearly 50,000 more were displaced in one of the most serious clashes in Central Asia following border disputes between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The dark cold hand of Capricorn reached to the sky from Belarus in May 2021 when a Ryanair flight was forced to land by Belarusian authorities to detain dissident journalist Roman Protasevich.
Capricorn nano-age decan overflow (May 2015 – Oct 2015)
In May 2015, the UK General Election resulted in the first Conservative majority government in 18 years. The October 2015 Polish parliamentary election was won by the largest opposition party, the right-wing Law and Justice Party.
In July 2015, Greece became the first advanced economy to miss a payment to the International Monetary Fund in the 71-year history of the IMF. After six months of clashes and futile negotiations between Greece’s newly elected, leftist government and the country’s creditors, over the austerity measures imposed through bailout programmes, tension peaked as Greece voted in a referendum to reject the terms offered in a third programme; however, the government eventually agreed to the harsher terms.
Queen Elizabeth II, having been on the throne for 63 years, 217 days, became the longest-reigning British monarch in history and the longest-serving head of state of any nation in modern history, surpassing Queen Victoria, who had reigned for 63 years, 216 days upon her death.
In October 2015, Hurricane Patricia became the most powerful tropical cyclone on record worldwide (in terms of maximum sustained winds and the second-most intense on record worldwide in terms of pressure). Total damage from Patricia was estimated to be at least $US462.8 million; the damage in Mexico alone was estimated to be in excess of US$325 million.
In June 2015, the FIFA President Sepp Blatter announced his intention to resign amidst an FBI-led corruption investigation. In September 2015, a stampede during the Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca killed at least 2,200 people and injured more than 900 others, with more than 650 missing. Russia began air strikes against anti-government forces in Syria in September 2015, in support of the draconian Syrian government. A United States airstrike on a Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) hospital in Afghanistan killed an estimated 20 people in October 2015.
Capricorn nano-age decan overflow (February 2012 – July 2012)
This Capricorn nano-age decan overflow was a decan of a Virgo nano-age (April 2011 to July 2012) with the most potent micro-age decan influence being the Scorpio micro-age decan overflow (2010 – 2014).
Egypt’s deadliest football incident was in February 2012, when the Port Said Stadium riot sparked after local fans attacked supporters of the Cairo-based team. The massacre resulted in 74 deaths, including one police officer. Most of the deaths were caused by stabbing, fans thrown off the stands and a stampede. Also in February 2012, Iran suspended oil exports to Britain and France, following sanctions by the European Union and the United States. March 2012 also witnessed the ominous election of Vladimir Putin as President of Russia – another dark horse rises. This occurred within the Cancer micro-age decan (Jan 2010 – Dec 2014) and Cancer micro-age (Feb 2000 – Dec 2014), and Russia has strong historical links to Cancer that it inherited from the Vikings. Eurozone finance ministers reached an agreement on a second, €130-billion bailout for Greece in February 2012.
After 246 years since its first publication, the Encyclopædia Britannica discontinued its print edition in March 2012. (Cancer) China experienced ructions at the top when in March 2012 the Communist party chief of Chongqing, Bo Xilai, well known for his (conservative) neo-Maoist leanings and policies, was removed from his post after a large scandal involving the murder of British businessman Neil Heywood and an incident involving the Chongqing police chief Wang Lijun. Another dark lord rose to prominence under this Capricorn period with Kim Jong Un elected First Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
June 2012 saw the arrival of the 2012 Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus outbreak. Also in the same month, 12 people were killed and 58 were injured in a mass shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. The shooter, James Holmes, opened fire on a crowd during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises.
July 2012 had the worst power outage in world history – the 2012 India blackouts left 620 million people without power. A series of terrorist attacks was directed against US diplomatic missions worldwide and some European allies in September 2012. In the US, opinions were divided over whether the attacks are a reaction to a YouTube trailer for the ‘provocative’ film Innocence of Muslims. In Libya, deaths included the killing of the US ambassador.

Taking previous and recent Capricorn nano-age decan overflow periods into account, we should expect one or more notable events associated with any of the current crop of numerous dark lords controlling much of the world. The Cancer micro-age and overflow (2000 – 2014 – 2029) can create a leadership vacuum, as Cancer lacks leadership and wisdom. Most of the so-called world leaders promote (Cancer) emotional issues instead of long-term and practical policies. Even the fact that we have to contend with so many dark lords at present is a manifestation of the dark cold hand of Capricorn. Anything that can be detrimental can thrive under Capricorn, and especially affect negatively anything associated with Cancer, Capricorn’s opposite sign. This may be exacerbated under the influence of the reigning Cancer micro-age and overflow (2000 – 2014 – 2029)
Cancer also promotes border disputes, exemplified by China’s claims over Taiwan, Russia over Ukraine, Israel over Palestine, Thailand versus Cambodia plus numerous African border incursions etc. On the scientific front, some significant advances and perhaps a change involving time or calendars?
Capricorn countries may rise to prominence which include: India, Israel, Russia, United Kingdom and incidents involving major mountains, oppressive laws that curtail democratic freedoms, favoritism towards the rich elite (i.e. reduction in tax paid by corporations and the rich), aggression towards and by Islamic associated groups, major shipping accidents, suppression and oppression of the (Cancer) general public and the general public is in a bad mood or feeling insecure. Of course, the (Cancer) Middle East is a powder keg under Cancer’s opposite sign.
Many commentators have noted the rise of right-wing and extreme right-wing politics in recent times. The recent September 2025 mass anti-migration demonstration in the UK is one such example, with some commentators drawing a connection between this current trend, sometimes labelled neo-fascism, and the rise of fascism in the 1930s, espousing extreme right-wing ideologies. While the mood is much the same in both periods, the details are much milder in the 2020s compared to the 1930s. The rise of fascism in the 1920s and 30s was orchestrated by the Pisces sub-age decan overflow (1910 – 1970) that resonated with the massive and powerful Pisces age overflow (1433 – 3581). Pisces provided the mass delusion for fascism. This overpowering Pisces influence then combined with the Aquarius micro-age and overflow (1910 – 1925 – 1940). Aquarius dredges up all the misfits, radicals and eccentrics, which when combined with Pisces, created the perfect spot for the rise of fascism.
The extreme right wing or neo-fascism of today also involves Aquarius because Aquarius undermines the (Leo) mainstream. This is the first time that Aquarius has gained strength since the early 20th-century Aquarius period. The Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019 – Nov 2024) also promoted misfits, radicals, eccentrics and interruption, but in this case, it combined with Cancer, the sign of anti-wisdom that, when combined with Aquarius, has produced a milder version of the 1920’s and 30s fascism and tyrants. Many of today’s so-called leaders could be called petty tyrants. Petty tyrants thrive under the dark cold hand of Capricorn.
As of 2025, the Aquarius element is slowly on the wane, but Cancer remains powerful until the end of the decade. The replacement of the early 20th century Pisces with the present Cancer influence shifts the focus somewhat from (Pisces) Europe to (Cancer) Middle East, Islamic nations, and China. Furthermore, the Cancer influence is only generated by a 15-year micro-age, while the early 20th-century Pisces influence was powered by an age-decan lasting over seven centuries.
We should see the dark cold hand of Capricorn in our midst for five months or so. The murder of the extreme right-wing ideologue Charlie Kirk in September 2025 may become a defining element of the current small Capricorn nano-age overflow (Sep 2025 – Feb 2026). Of course, it looks like dark times for the ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza (and the West Bank). The best that can be said for the Capricorn nano-age decan overflow (Sep 2025 – Feb 2026) is that it is relatively short!
Within the Age of Aquarius (1433 – 3581) are 12 sub-ages, and the world is currently in the Libra sub-age (1970 – 2149). Within this sub-age are 12 micro-ages, and we are in the Gemini micro-age (2014 – 2029). Even small micro-ages have smaller periods called nano-ages. The world is progressing through the Virgo nano-age (Nov 2024 – Feb 2026), but as of July 2025, at the midway point, Virgo shifted up a gear.[1] The transition Virgo has experienced in July 2025 has taken Virgo from its weakest quarter of influence to midway strength (it will attain full strength in the period Feb 2026 – Nov 2026 aligned to the Virgo nano-age overflow). The coming third quarter (Feb 2026 – Oct 2026) should be an interesting time, as this small Virgo nano-age opposes the might of both Pisces USA and Pisces – the strongest sign in the world in the first half of the Age of Aquarius.
Table 1 – displays the Virgo and Leo nano-ages with their respective nano-age decans and overflow periods (the overflow periods are stronger than their initial period).
Virgo should be noticeable right now, and exactly on time, a key manifestation of this has taken place with the largest dissent to date between President Trump and his MAGA base. This has occurred as Trump previously promoted (Pisces) conspiracy theories about Jeffrey Epstein to his base, and had promised them that he would release information on Epstein and his cabal. This is apparently what a substantial proportion of the MAGA base wants – details on the corruption and illegal activities of the Deep State.
Natalie Winters, a 24 year old MAGA republican and Steve Bannon protégé put it better than I ever could:
“I just think it’s frankly very grifty to have spent your entire career promoting, even if it weren’t the Epstein thing directly, but the idea that there is this deep state, the idea that there’s this unelected class of, you know, bankers, corporation, countries, intel agencies, blah, blah, blah. And then finally, you have the power to expose it, and either you’re not, because there’s nothing there, in which case it makes you a liar — and I don’t believe that — or you’re ineffective, or you’re compromised.”
MAGA is angry at Trump because they have to accept that he has been lying to them. Or they have to accept that he’s a terrible president. Or that they have to accept that he is in the Epstein report. For those of us who are not MAGA republicans we already know all three of those things are true, but MAGA republicans have built this story that Trump is powerful, tells the truth when others don’t, and is moral. To have to see that at least one of those must not be true is truly devastating.”[2]
Trump has hesitated and is prevaricating in the delivery of relevant information. It then became even more complicated with Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal publication of a supposed defamatory contribution Trump provided to a birthday album for one of Epstein’s birthdays, produced by Ghislaine Maxwell (Epstein’s girlfriend). Trump has declared this contribution, which he purportedly made as (Pisces) fake. Subsequently, Trump has sued the Wall Street Journal, FOX News and Rupert Murdoch supposedly in support of Trump’s long-stated opposition to the Fake News Media. Furthermore, Trump is trying to divert attention away from his involvement and association with Jeffrey Epstein and has even embroiled Obama and Clinton with Obama supposedly accused of treason, and Clinton of being on Epstein’s “list”.
Unfortunately for Trump, Virgo does not pander or promote delusion, lies, deceit and deception – these all belong to Virgo’s opposite sign of Pisces. Trump has not encountered Virgo at this strength previously in either presidency. Virgo is the key sign that opposes Trump’s Pisces modus operandi (MO), and so he may have to do a lot of squirming and evasion, but Virgo does not like avoiding the truth – it prefers integrity.
Trump encountered a Capricorn nano-age (Dec 2019 – Mar 2021) in his first presidency, which naturally included a Virgo nano-age decan and overflow (Dec 2019 – May 2020 – Sep 2020). December 2019 was the first month that the world took notice of the appearance of COVID-19, appropriately with Virgo, the health sign. May 2020 saw the number of reported COVID cases exceed 5 million people worldwide, and over 100,000 Americans died from COVID-19. The death rate will double within a month, and doubled again in the following month. During this time, Trump obfuscated, delayed and avoided tackling COVID-19 as much as possible. Also, during the Virgo nano-age decan (Dec 2019 – May 2020), Trump was impeached but acquitted – yet this was a full-frontal political assault on Trump. In April 2020, Trump suspended funding to the World Health Organization (WHO), and the critical element associated with Virgo may have contributed to his loss in the November 2020 presidential election, with much of the campaigning influenced by this Virgo nano-age decan and overflow.
The rollout of the current Virgo period will be three times stronger than the Virgo period associated with COVID-19, and in comparison, should bring more difficulties and problems to the USA, as well as to Trump and any other entities that depend on Pisces’ archetypes – this could possibly even include Disneyland, not to mention stock market bubbles. The Epstein case sparked conspiracy theories, especially among Trump’s base, about an alleged international cabal of wealthy pedophiles.[3] With Virgo promoting the 7th house of opposition to Pisces, this will bring conflict in some quarters, and even peace in other quarters, to many areas associated with Pisces.
Even Trump’s tariff war draws on this 7th house situation as the USA bludgeons as many nations and regions into economic acquiescence to the USA under the guise of tariffs. It is also possible that a significant proportion of the MAGA base may be exposed to the shortcomings of Trump’s trade and other policies as their economic situation deteriorates. People tend not to like having their expectations shattered. The more delusional these expectations, the greater intensity they seem to be held, and so with the increasing strength of Virgo, the reality sign, is not portending a great big happy MAGA family over the coming months and couple of years.
The Virgo nano-age and overflow suggest that the Epstein file is just the thin edge of the wedge, and this will most likely lead to something bigger and more profound, as the current Virgo period has only shifted up to second gear with the big shift yet to come. The arrival of the third and highest gear commences in February 2026 and it will be at its highest potency until around October 2026. Therefore, for the majority of the period leading to the midterm elections in November 2026, Trump will be the object of much criticism and opposition, and therefore possibly adversely affect the outcome of the midterm elections from Trump’s perspective. The fourth stage of the Virgo period covers the period October 2026 to May 2027, and while this is not quite as strong as stage 3, it does have the Virgo sting-in-the-tail period (Mar 2027 – May 2027) for any final fireworks.
It is worth noting that Trump launched his tariff war coinciding with the peak of the Taurus nano-age decan and overflow (Nov 2024 – Apr 2025 – Sep 2025) (see Table 1), and Taurus is about money and wealth. The arrival of the peak of the Capricorn nano-age decan and overflow in September 2025 should see the darkness spread or deepen due to the nature of Capricorn.
There are bound to be numerous other situations over the coming months and a couple of years that will undermine the USA, Trump and any other politician or situation that has depended upon (Pisces) conspiracy theories and general delusion and misinformation. However, this small Virgo period is equivalent to a pimple in comparison to the Pisces age and overflow that is influential for around 4,500 years. A 30-month nano-age and overflow is not going to usurp Pisces as the strongest sign in the world. It is due to the two-faced nature of Pisces that the USA, empire of the Pisces-Aquarius age, is what it is, and the Trump presidencies are out of the Pisces playbook, where everything is supposedly glitzy and nice but mostly mirages.
In the first half of the Age of Aquarius (1433 – 3581), the overflow from the Pisces age (715 BC – 1433 AD) is stronger and more powerful than the emergent Age of Aquarius. This Pisces element must be expressed. I must admit, until the appearance of Trump, I was somewhat confused by how far liberal economic and political advances had taken place since the end of the Second World War. Anything liberal and progressive is usually associated with Aquarius, but in the first half of the Age of Aquarius, the Pisces overflow from the Pisces age is stronger than the influence of Aquarius. This means that the ever onward and upward thrust of democratic and rational Aquarius should face opposition.
Trump currently is your standard conservative reactionary opposition to the developing momentum of the Aquarian age. What Trump has accomplished is that he has just put conservatism on steroids. This mimics, to a certain extent, what occurred in the first half of the 20th century with the ultra-conservative politics of those times. However, even in this comparison between today and the first half of the 20th century, the current situation remains far more pliable and moderate in comparison to the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini and so on. Believe it or not, this is a sign of progress, even if it is merely an improvement on how bad things can get. Unfortunately, few people can see that the world is still making progress, but this is due to the collective depression experienced by many people around the world associated with the Cancer micro-age and overflow (2000 – 2014 – 2029).

Taurus seems to be defining much of the world’s situation at present. Taurus rules money, and President Trump has recently unleashed a punitive tariff regime that will hurt many people and countries in their hip pocket, especially Americans. This is Taurus.
The overflow is the most potent
This Taurus nano-era is occurring under the shadow of the Libra micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2020 – Nov 2024 – Nov 2029) which has been in its most powerful sector since November 2024. Libra mainly brings conflict, and this is why the word ‘war’ has been added to ‘tariffs’ to create the recent tariff war instigated by Trump.
The reason it is currently a tariff war as the primary international conflict is due to the Cancer micro-age and overflow (2000 – 2014 – 2029). Cancer promotes protection, and therefore, tariffs that supposedly protect a country’s economy actually hurt all the economies involved.
Taurus is also a key sign for Ukraine, and Ukraine is definitely currently in the crosshairs as a Putin-friendly USA tries to coerce it into a plainly one-sided peace agreement that favors Russia at the expense of Ukraine. However, Taurus is on Ukraine’s side, at least, so we will just have to wait and see.
Taurus is the most stable and unchangeable of all the zodiacal signs, and definitely dislikes (Scorpio) revolution and traumatic change. This may stifle Trump to a certain degree as Taurus promotes stability.
Coincidentally, the Aries lunar month concludes on 27/28 April 2025 activating the 12th house to anything associated with Taurus, so this does not assist in Ukraine or India, but the approaching Taurus lunar month 27/28 April to 26/27 May 2025 may place a stronger focus on the the Kashmir problem and Ukraine-Russian peace negotiations.
Tensions are on the boil in another Taurus country, India, with India and Pakistan returning to a very tense situation and even hostilities following a terrorist attack in April 2025 against mainly Indian tourists in Kashmir. In retaliation, the Indian government has cut off water from a dam sharing project with Pakistan, and this Taurus nano-age decan sits in the shadow of the Cancer mico-age and overflow (2000 – 2014 – 2029), with Cancer ruling dams and anything to do with fresh water.
Any existing or new conflict could spark a much greater conflict while we are in the business end of the Libra micro-age decan overflow (Nov 2024 – Nov 2029), and therefore we will just have to wait and see where the new tension point between India and Pakistan leads. The current astrology indicates that the desire for conflict is currently at the highest level for nearly all people alive today.
These small nano-age decans only put their head above water for about 5 months, so in 5 months in September 2025, the cold dark hand of Capricorn will replace Taurus’ stabilizing influence. Capricorn is a nastier sign, and usually darkens the mood with Satan licking his lips in anticipation of the anguish and concern he will bring. Fortunately, it’s the smallest of blips but expect some darkness to manifest!
What is the next big thing that will greatly impact the world? What is a big thing? If we start with contemporary history, 9/11 was the first big thing of this century. As a consequence, the USA with the help of allies quickly invaded Afghanistan, found an excuse to invade Iraq in 2003 and resurrected the defacto Christian versus Islam modern Crusade against the infidels – the end result has been as abysmal as the original Crusades about a thousand years earlier. The next big thing to appear was the sub-prime mortgage crisis (2007 – 2010) in American real estate mortgages leading to the Global Recession (Global Financial Crisis).
Following or overlapping with the above, the Arab Spring (Dec 2010 – Sep 2014) commencing in Tunisia and soon spread to Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Syria, and Bahrain with unrest in Morocco, Iraq, Algeria, Iranian Khuzestan, Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, and Sudan. Out of the Arab Spring, or following Arab Winter (which extended to 2019 at least), evolved the Islamic State (ISIS) and by 2014 ISIS was able to drive Iraqi troops out of key cities and it even captured Mosel which it held until 2017.
Next on the scene appeared populace leaders such as Donald Trump (USA), Narendra Modi (India), Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Matteo Salvini (Italy), Jair Bolsonaro (Brazil), Rodrigo Duterte (Philippines) and Boris Johnson (UK). These populace leaders have usually polarized their societies and depending upon which political side you take, they will make their country great again or are throwbacks to a previous uglier time in the world. Finally, to cap off these two decades was the COVID-19 pandemic creating the greatest disruption in the world since the Second World War. Based on precedent, there is every reason to believe that the world will continue to stumble from one upset or disaster to another as was the case with the first two decades of the 21st century, not to mention the last many thousands of years of disasters and turmoil that regularly visits our world.
The above provides a context for the extent of what the next big thing may be, but exactly what is next in line and when may it appear? This may be answered by recognizing the hidden structure that strongly influences all of the above. The hidden structure is the sub-periods of the current Age of Aquarius. The most relevant sub-periods associated with the above are micro-ages and micro-age decans. Each age of some 2150 years has 12 sub-ages of around 178 years, and these each have 12 micro-ages of slightly less than 15 years, and naturally any decan will be a third – or nearly five years.

The key common sign for the first three decades of the 21st century is Cancer due to the Cancer micro-age and overflow (Feb 2000 – Dec 2014 – Nov 2029) (see Table 1). Under the sign Cancer there is a strong focus on Islamic nations as Islam is a Pisces-Cancer religion compared to its sibling Christianity which is a Pisces-Scorpio religion. This helps explain the whole Islamic orientation of world politics since 9/11 commencing with the 9/11 attack on the USA, the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, the Arab Spring (and Winter) and fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban in 2021. It also explains the spectacular rise of China in these same two decades as Cancer is the major sign for China.
The Cancer micro-age (Feb 2000 – Dec 2014) commenced with the Leo micro-age decan overflow (Feb 2000 – Jan 2005) but Aquarius is the second strongest sign in the astrological signature for the USA (age empire of the Pisces-Aquarius age). Leo will ‘attack’ Aquarius, which played out with 9/11. The Leo micro-age overflow is of the same timespan as the Pisces micro-age and the Pisces element focused upon the primary sign for the USA which it harnessed in its invasion of Iraq in 2003 and its success is attributable to the Pisces quasi micro-age decan (Nov 2003 – Jul 2007). (quasi periods are not shown in Table 1 and are always based on the last half of a period combined with the first half of its overflow – see Age of Aquarius for Dummies ).
The earlier Dot.com crash of 2000 is also worth mentioning as it was due to investors’ interest in internet related companies increased to a frenzied level following massive growth and adoption of the internet. Under the Leo micro-age decan overflow (Feb 2000 – Jan 2005) Aquarius technology is under ‘attack’ due to Aquarius and Leo being opposite signs. In April 2000 the Nasdaq Composite index fell 25% in just one week.
The sub-prime mortgage crisis (2007 – 2010) is associated with Cancer as homes are ruled by Cancer, and its appearance in 2007 basically coincided with the arrival of the Cancer quasi micro-age (Jul 2007 – Jun 2022). The path to the Great Recession (2007 – 09) is readily associated with the Scorpio micro-age decan and overflow (Jul 2007 – Jul 2012 – Dec 2014), and though this recession was nominally only a few years, it dampened the economies of many countries for many more years. This same Scorpio micro-age decan and overflow also provided the revolutionary impetus for the Arab Spring (Dec 2010 – late 2014) with Cancer also playing a dominant background influence.
Cancer is also the sign of populace leaders because Cancer is the sign of the common people and is opposite Capricorn – the sign of wisdom of the elders or wise people – something that populace leaders appear to lack. Though elements of populace leaders appeared before the Cancer micro-age overflow such as Sarah Palin, it was not until the Cancer micro-age overflow commencing December 2014 that they became a worldwide phenomenon. For example Donald Trump won the US presidential elections in November 2015 and Rodrigo Duterte became president of the Philippines on 30 June 2016.
The nascent Aquarius element from the Aquarius micro-age decan (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019) also fed into these populace leaders (as it did in the 1920s and 30s under the Aquarius micro-age and overflow) as community, social and political norms are radicalized by Aquarius – Aquarius and Cancer are also both associated with mental instability and helps explain the rise of conspiracy babble around the world (that behaves like a virus)!
Finally, the COVID-19 pandemic came to international attention the very same month that the Aquarius micro-age decan (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019) entered its more powerful Aquarius micro-age decan overflow (Dec 2019 – Nov 2024). Aquarius is the sign of disruption, and the greatest disruption that human society has withstood to date was under the Aquarius micro-age and overflow (1910 – 2025 – 1940) which saw the First World War, Spanish flu, Great Depression, communism and the beginning of the Second World War.
To gain a tighter understanding of what the next big thing may be, it is necessary to see what follows the Aquarius micro-age decan. What ‘follows’ in macro-astrology is always an overlapping influence. Firstly, since December 2014, the world entered the Cancer micro-age overflow (Dec 2014 – Nov 2029) but in December 2014 also arrived the overlapping Gemini micro-age (Dec 2014 – Nov 2029) which commenced with the Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019 – Nov 2024). The next cab off the rank is the overlapping Libra micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2019 – Nov 2024 – Nov 2029) and as usual, the second half is always the most powerful half. It is Libra that provides the nexus for the next big thing with the emphasis on November 2024 to November 2029.
You may be in for a big surprise with Libra – I certainly was! I have just completed extensive research on every Libra micro-age and Libra micro-age decan that has appeared in the world since the arrival of the Age of Aquarius in 1433. A naïve expectation of a Libra micro-age decan is that it may focus upon art, women, justice, parties, alliances, parks and gardens and so on. Well, I can confirm that all these are associated with nearly every Libra micro-age or micro-age decan, but the most notable and strongest element associated with these Libra periods is not only war and conflict, but war and conflict at the upper level of possibilities and that usually breaks new ground in its extent and destruction.
Following are some abbreviated extracts from my research with the focus upon the details of war and conflict in previous Libra micro-ages or micro-age decans since the arrival of the Age of Aquarius:
Libra micro-age and overflow (March 1463 – March 1478 – March 1493)
Granada War (Reconquista) to expel Muslims from Spain.
Resolution of the War of the Roses in England (Libra can bring peace if war or conflict is already present)
Anglo-Spanish War (1585–1604) which included the famous Spanish Armada (1588) with 130 ships and 30,000 men when Catholic Spain attempted to invade Protestant England
The War of the Three Henrys (1587-89) was one of a series of French civil wars under the umbrella of the French Wars of Religion (1562 – 98).
Japanese invasion of Korea (1592 -1598) was really the beginning of a proxy war between Japan and China with Korea the stepping stone from Japan to China.
Libra micro-age and overflow (April 1627 – May 1642 – April 1657)
The British Civil Wars (1639 – 1653) included rebellions, civil wars and invasions which ended when the English parliamentarian army won followed by the execution of the king.
Libra micro-age decan & overflow (Jan 1692 – Jan 1697 – Dec 1701)
The Nine Years’ War (1688–1697) with the fiercest fighting in 1692-3. It was a conflict between France and an opposing European coalition which included England, Spain and Portugal with theaters also in North America and India. This war is considered to be the first global war
The Nine Years’ War encompassed Ireland and Jacobite risings in Scotland (with some later elements of the Jacobite risings partly portrayed in the TV series Outlander), and North America between French and English settlers and their respective Indigenous allies.
War of the Spanish Succession (1701–1714) due to unresolved issues of the Nine Years’ War with a focus on maintaining the (Libra) balance of power between different European countries.
Seven Years’ War (1756 – 1763) and some historians call it World War Zero as many considered it a world war harking back to the Nine Years’ War (1688–1697) of the previous Libra period.
The Seven Years’ War in the North American theater was called the French and Indian War (1754 – 1763).
The French Revolution was already underway before this Libra period but the frenzy of beheadings was delayed until after the arrival of the deadly Scorpio sub-age in 1791 with Scorpio’s focus on death.
Napoleonic Wars (1805 – 1815) and included the minor War of 1812 between the UK and the USA. More French soldiers were casualties in the Napoleonic wars than in the First World War.
American Civil War (1861 – 65) with around 600,000 killed
Taiping Rebellion in China – the bloodiest civil war in world history with 30 to 50 million killed
Libra micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 1910 – Nov 1915 – Oct 1920)
First World War (1914 – 18) with around 22 million deaths, it was one of the largest wars and deadliest conflicts in history.
Each and every Libra micro-age or micro-age decan since the arrival of the Age of Aquarius has a focus on upper level major conflicts with ever increasing violence and destruction, and if the current Libra period follows form, a major conflict is on our doorstep and most likely more extensive than any conflict experienced since the Second World War. The most likely timeframe is from December 2024 onward for almost five years in parallel with the Libra micro-age overflow but it could commence any time between now and December 2024.
Who will be the combatants in this new conflict? The most likely scenario is the USA, its NATO allies and other Anglo-Saxon nations against China and Russia as these two blocs represents the current strongest international balance of power. With the two main protagonists probably being the USA and China, a brief examination of both may provide relevant insights into their performance in such an international tussle associated with these small Libra periods.
China
Libra is a major sign in China’s astrological signature as Libra is associated with the whole of the Far East. In the Libra micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 1527 – Dec 1532 – Nov 1537) China experienced an enormous drought (1528 – 1530) in Henan province coupled with a gigantic swarm of locusts which deprived the region of harvests for the next two years, killing off half the people in some communities, due to starvation and cannibalism. The following Libra micro-age decan and overflow (Aug 1582 – Jul 1592) saw the first Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592 which was really the beginning of a proxy war between Japan and China with Korea the stepping stone from Japan to China.
China was also a major focus within the next Libra micro-age and overflow (Apr 1627 – May 1642 – Apr 1657) when in 1627 the Manchus took advantage of Korea’s war-weakened state and invaded in 1627 and 1637. In 1641 a massive epidemic struck in northern and central China with some local areas and towns having 90% of the local populace wiped out, which may have contributed to the fall of the Ming Dynasty just three years later. In 1644 the invading Qing army captured Beijing marking the beginning of Manchu rule over China proper.
China’s affinity to Libra was again on display in the Libra micro-age and overflow (Jun 1791 – Apr 1806 – Mar 1821)when in 1793, the isolationist Chinese government rebuffed an attempt by the British to sell their manufactured goods to China and install a British ambassador in the Chinese court. Finally in the Libra micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 1910 – Nov 1915 – Oct 1920) commenced with the formation of the Republic of China in 1912 after a revolution which overthrew the Qing dynasty, ending 5,000 years of monarchy in China and 267 years of the Manchu dynasty.
Obviously Libra is a sign of ferment for China and suggests that major calamities are often on its doorstep and often indicates dynastic/regime change. If Cancer is the primary sign for China, Libra activated the lowly 4th house and detracts from its 10th house of government and authority. If the approaching conflict deeply involves China, it does not portend a favorable result for China, unless a regime change turns out to be favorable?
The current Gemini sub-age decan and overflow (1970 – 2029 – 2059) is not favorable to China (especially in the second half) as Gemini sits at the 12th house position to China’s Cancer. However, within this Gemini age-decan is the Cancer micro-age and overflow (2000 – 2014 – 2019) and we have seen China’s rise to the second strongest superpower in the world under this micro-age and overflow. This rise is so potent, many pundits have claimed that China will become the number one superpower soon. However, there are only a few more years of the Cancer micro-age overflow concluding in November 2029 with a waning influence over China for the following 10 years as it confronts the opposing Capricorn micro-age decan and overflow (Nov 2029 – Oct 2034 – Oct 2039). This will not be a fortuitous period for the world, and specifically Cancer-orientated regions such as China, Russia, the Middle East and Islamic countries.
USA
What is the astrological environment for the USA in the possible approaching major conflict? The American Civil War demonstrated that the USA was and remains like conjoined twins, who can never get away from each other, and often detest each other. This is again the reality in the USA when the rural voters throughout the USA voted for Trump, while urban areas voted Democrat. The end of 2021 is equivalent to 1858 – only three years before the beginning of the American Civil War. Does this mean that the USA is heading for another civil war?
A very good argument can be made that the USA is heading towards a period of even greater internal conflict than has been experienced over the last five years, but the world is no longer in the Pisces sub-age decan as was the case with the Civil War. In place of Pisces, the world is currently under the influence of the Gemini sub-age decan and overflow (1970 – 2029 – 2088) but Gemini is not part of the astrological signature for the USA.
The American Civil War also occurred at the highpoint of the Cancer sub-age decan and overflow (1791 – 1851 – 1910) and Cancer is opposite Capricorn, the third strongest sign in the USA’s astrological signature. The current Cancer micro-age and overflow (2000 – 2014 – 2029) will also provoke tensions in the USA but compared to the 18th century, this Cancer influence is very mild.
With Pisces the strongest sign for the USA, and Cancer opposed to Capricorn, the third strongest sign in the astrological signature, the current Gemini SAD&OF is not of the same league. However, Gemini is probably detrimental to the USA on the world stage, as Gemini sits at the lowly 4th house position to Pisces which detracts from its 10th house authority, and shifts the focus to domestic over international issues – which was played out by Trump through avoiding new foreign wars or conflicts, and extracting US troops from ongoing international conflicts whenever possible. President Biden has continued this trend with the withdrawal of American military from Afghanistan in 2021.
We can certainly expect a period of greater lack of social and political cohesion in the USA, especially in the Libra MADOF (Nov 24 – Nov 29) with the situation deteriorating beforehand, but it should be nowhere near the level of stress that existed in the buildup and execution of the American Civil War. If the major problem the USA is faced with is not civil war or vigorous internal dissent, how will it handle a major external conflict?
It cannot be overstressed that the USA is the age-empire of our time, and once an age-empire gets established, they don’t like to be kicked around, and they tend to have longevity – at least for the first half of the age, which means the USA should retain its international position until at least the midway point of the Age of Aquarius around 2507 AD. In contrast, China has a far more resilient history for cultural longevity, but not for its ruling dynasties or regimes that come and go regularly (similar to the lunation cycle). If China is the main protagonist in any approaching international military polarization, it will continue to exist afterwards, but it may be restructured – as has been the case for the previous thousands of years.
The Libra age-decan and overflow (1433 – 2149 – 2865) does not suggest the eradication of opponents, as Libra is the sign of balance. For most of the current millennia, a major polarization in the world is indicated, and this polarization will strengthen over the coming centuries. This is in strong contrast to the last two ages at least. This strongly suggests that China, for better or worse, will remain as the yin balance to American yang for most of this Millennium. Therefore any approaching conflict may represent one of a number of international adjustments of this very long term geopolitical situation?
Each Libra period appears to outstrip the previous one in ferocity, and so if this is literally taken to be the case in the coming conflagration, the use of atomic weapons cannot be ignored as nations have historically used every means of weaponry available to defeat their enemies. This is reinforced by the fact that the world remains in the most potent quarter (1970 – 2059) of the Scorpio sub-age and overflow (1791 – 1970 – 2148). The risk level for atomic weapons remains very high until 2059 at least. The only other viable possibility is that in place of open warfare, the world descends to all out cyber warfare, as Scorpio is a key driver for the internet (along with Gemini).
The Pisces age overflow and Pisces quasi-age provides the base environment for the world until around 2507. This therefore promotes the possible precipitation for conflict could be the South China Sea as the oceans and islands are ruled by Pisces. For the rest of the world, a bunch of islands and reefs recently occupied and claimed by China in the South China Sea may seem a ridiculous precipitation for an international conflict but not according to Daniel Yergin, author of The New Map:
“ China’s efforts to assert sovereignty in the South China Sea is perhaps the most volatile foreign policy issue in the world today. Through its waters pass $US3.5 trillion of world trade — two-thirds of China’s maritime trade, and over 40 percent of Japan’s and 30 percent of total world trade. Eighty percent of China’s oil imports pass through it. Its waters are crucial for food security. It provides much of the seafood consumed both in China, the world’s largest consumer of fish, and Southeast Asia.
Those waters are also fraught with risk. ‘A single irresponsible action or instigation of conflict,’ warned Vietnam’s prime minister, ‘could well lead to the interruption of these huge trade flows, with unforeseeable consequences not only to regional economies but also to the entire world.’”
China’s main sign is Cancer, the sign of perimeters and thus borders, and China does not have a history of military engagements with countries not on its borders – unlike the Europeans and their offspring’s who historically have marauded everywhere possible. But the South China Sea is on China’s borders, as is Taiwan, Tibet and India. Any coming conflict with China is bound to be on its ‘edges’.
The astrology indicates that the next big thing should be war or some alternative style of major conflict – above and beyond what the world has experienced since the end of the Second World War, and I have provided some speculative scenarios of the combatants and details which may or may not be correct. The most likely alternative to this is the major existential crisis facing the world – Climate Change.
The necessary international alliance required to tackle Climate Change is also more likely to take shape under the Libra micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2019 – Nov 2024 – Nov 2029) with the second half (Nov 2024 – Nov 2029) the more likely timeframe. This may deteriorate into a bipolar approach to Climate Change with two intractable opposing sides, or it could be a success as Libra can bring peace or accord in a time of disagreement. A major conflict in parallel to a Climate Change accord is also a possibility.
There is one more hurdle between the world in 2021 and the approaching Libra highpoint around November 2024 and that is the replacement of the Cancer quasi micro-age (Jul 2007 – Jun 2022) with the Gemini quasi micro-age (Jun 2022 – Jan 2037) in June 2022. A quasi micro-age cusp is really a gear change, and the approaching cusp in June 2022 indicates a change down in gear for Cancer and a rise in gear for Gemini making their respective influences about equal.
Perhaps Greta Thunberg significantly increases her influence amongst students? Maybe the European Union struggles to retain all of its existing members as Gemini promotes fragmentation? Does an internet crash or incident become a major liability in some way? Will the internet be militarized? Cities may start to flex their influence at Climate Change talks? Or the extraction of vehicles from fossil fuels radically accelerates? China comes off the boil and starts showing early signs of political fracture? My first choice is the internet. Unfortunately the track record of the human race is that governments will use any newly developed or created technology for war – and so we may expereince some kind of militarization of the internet which is already showing this tendency.
We cannot expect astrology to provide a high definition video with stereoscopic audio of the future as its track record does not support this. Much fanfare was made of the predictions of the COVID-19 pandemic by the French astrologer, the late Andre Barbault, but even in his predictions, he could not be definitive and he certainly did not get the major supporting detail correct. However, merely defining the outline of the next big thing is an achievement in itself if it comes to pass!
The COVID-19 pandemic has stressed people and societies around the world, and under stress, organisms or societies will behave differently than normal. In stressed humans, there is a tendency for the mind to divert from the rational side of the brain to the animal-emotive side promoting irrational responses. (see Gemini’s Role in our Modern World or Battle of the Brains) Two very dominant social manifestations of this stress is the rejection of science and the rise of conspiracy theories to such an extent, social media is overflowing with conspiracy babble. Where is this heading?
I cannot take any more of the hatred and division.
The ugliness, selfishness and pettiness of people who put their own selfish needs above those who need their help so they can feel safe in their community is such a hard pill to swallow.
Those in the community who have to fear for their well-being just from going out getting groceries or sending their immune compromised child to school, all the while worrying about their child’s safety and health- sad.
I am tired of the uneducated calling out professionals with such arrogance that it makes me ashamed to be human.
The friends who ditch you, because your beliefs are not the same and who mistake beliefs for science.
The lack of compassion, kindness and humility is at an all-time low.
What we are seeing now is the unravelling of society. It is based on a level of depravity never seen before, even by those who are supposedly our elected leaders, but who are anything but. is the only thing that matters- people are expendable.
It is becoming so evident where corruption lies- either follow the money trail or observe the massive egos of our leaders who fail to do what they signed up for- namely to be a wise guardian for all people.
Real leaders manage to bring those they are supposed to lead together and not divide them even further.
Real leaders exhibit wisdom and know when to support their flock and deal with others who are out of line effectively.
But most of all I am tired of of the arrogance and stupidity of people out there who do not know how stupid they are, making life incredibly difficult for those who are not.
The conspiracy babble and the rejection of science by a significant minority of even so-called advanced western countries is experiencing its heyday as Elke notes above. The astrology underpinning the contemporary anti-science agenda is driven by the Cancer micro-age and overflow (Feb 2000 – Dec 2014 – Nov 2029) with Cancer peaking at the midway point. The combination of a period and overflow can be broken up into four sections like the four parts of the lunation cycle. The strongest part is the third part, and in this case covers the period (December 2014 to June 2022). It is in this timeframe that the influence of Cancer is at its peak. (see Age of Aquarius for Dummies ) It doesn’t disappear after June 2022, it merely subsides in intensity like the waning Moon but it will have its final last stand between May 2027 to November 2029 – especially the second half from August 2028 onward.

Cancer is opposite Capricorn – the sign of rationality and science (which does not imply that science has a monopoly on rationality otherwise they would not reject astrology due to their collective belief system). In a Cancer period, science and scientists are in ‘detriment’ but this is not limited to scientists. Anyone sprouting wisdom, rationality or logic will also be under attack. For example, in September 2021 government prosecutors in Mexico were seeking arrest warrants for more than 30 scientists in an attempt at silencing them.
The National Council on Science and Technology (Conacyt) has described the reaction to the arrest warrant applications as “a concerted wave of disinformation,” which was spreading “terror” in the scientific community.
Another Cancer archetype is the common people – the average Joe Blow who is just getting on with their life the best way they know how. Under Cancer, many average folk are going to be very influenced by other folk of their same ilk rather than rationalists and scientists. This is highly compounded by social media, and the world has only really starting to come to grips with social media – or at least online activity since about 2000. Most things in this world have a positive and negative side and we are definitely experiencing the insidious side of social media this decade.
In addition, Cancer is the most hypersensitive sign in the zodiac, and one manifestation of this hypersensitivity is fear. People are afraid and afraid people will promote a storm in a teacup and perceive a negative flavor in unfolding events. One classic manifestation of this was that a hugely significant percentage of American voters’ fear that their last presidential election was stolen from them. People influenced by fear rarely respond to rationality – it’s the nature of our human mind.
The year 2000 was not only the beginning of the Cancer micro-age and overflow, but also stage two of the Gemini sub-age decan and overflow (1970 – 2029 – 2059) with stage two (2000 – 2029) preparing for the following more powerful stage three. Nevertheless, stage two promotes Gemini and Gemini has always been associated with communication and thus associated with the internet. Gemini is opposite Sagittarius, which means Gemini is at odds with Sagittarius, which is rather unfortunate in one respect as Sagittarius rules truth. This is why Gemini has often been associated with petty thieves, used car salesmen and lawyers – none of which have shown an admiration or attraction to truth. We don’t live in a time where truth has a strong reputation. Social media bombards us with information but its integrity is always questionable.
When we combine anti-science Cancer with anti-truth Gemini, the recipe for the current anti-science period is forming, but another ingredient is involved – Aquarius. The Gemini micro-age has three micro-age decans (see Table 1), and the first is the Aquarius micro-age (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019) with its overflow period extending to November 2024. This also has a four stage structure, and the most potent phase is the third stage covering the period December 2019 to June 2022. What Aquarius brings to the recipe is radicalization with people deserting the center and bolstering the fringes – and therefore promoting crazy leftists or looney right politics – that normally would not be given the time of the day in normal times. The last time fascism and communism where competing against each other and normality was under the Aquarius micro-age and overflow (1910 – 1925 – 1940).

However, Aquarius also brings another element, excitement, so no matter which fringe direction society is leaning, many people are going to be extremely excited about it. While there are numerous examples from around the world, the classic was the election of Donald Trump as president of the USA, with his Make America Great Again (MAGA) and incredibly excited followers. I remember coming across very excited astrologers online predicting the election of Donald Trump in the lead up to the 2016 US presidential elections – and while I had experienced right wing orientated astrologers previously, I had never encountered significant cells of such orientation in the astrological community before. They were incredibly excited about extolling Trump’s vision for the future of the USA on the level of a religious revelation.
The Brexiteers were of much the same sentiment except they were highly excited about breaking ties with Europe and standing on their own two feet in another version of Make XXX Great Again with XXX in this case the UK. I also experienced significant numbers of pro-Brexit British astrologers as they rallied around the flag with excitement in the air. I remember talking to a taxi driver in Manchester asking him why he supported Brexit and his response was that the European Union was taking away their Britishness. However, we had just been to Italy, Spain and France and I asked the taxi driver why they were not losing their Italianess, Spanishness and Frenchness?
When the influences of Cancer, Gemini and Aquarius are combined, the result is the world of 2021 with all three zodiacal signs peaking simultaneously for at least the length of the common timeframe: December 2019 – June 2022. After June 2022, it can be expected that this combined influence will slowly wane. The first to go will be the disruption and excitement of Aquarius, but it will hang on in a dwindling fashion until November 2024.
The world is currently like a roller coaster ride at a theme park – a wild ride invoking thrill, fear and excitement. It is this environment that has produced the rejection of the existence of COVID-19, the rejection of mainstream vaccines, spread of anti-vaxxers, the embrace of snake-oil cures – the latest is ivermectin[1] and the acceptance of anyone on YouTube criticizing the mainstream approach to dealing with COVID. Like populace politicians, they generally have a simple formula – anything they disagree with is fake.
However, the astrology indicates there can be no real alternative to the above scenario at this point of time. The strongest zodiacal sign in the current first half of the Age of Aquarius is Pisces due to the same four stage structure explained above. Though the Age of Aquarius commenced in 1433, this was also the beginning of the overlapping Pisces age overflow and overflow (715 BC – 1433AD – 3581 AD). The third stage of the Pisces age and overflow covers the period 1433 to 2503 and for the whole of this period, Pisces is not only the dominant sign, its at its greatest strength in the 26,000 years cycle of the ages – while Aquarius is the emergent energy.
Pisces is the sign of illusion, delusion and a bureaucratic mental structure towards life and politics where artificial rules and approaches are made to be followed such as capitalism, socialism, communism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and so on. This structured mental-universe provides societies and individuals a security blanket, and humans attachment to their security blanket is so strong, that they will often go so far as to kill or punish those that disagree with their invented structure, or wage wars to uphold their structured artificial reality. Frightened people will gravitate to their favorite security blanket.
Someone who refutes COVID, discounts science and scientists, and embraces conspiracy babble for breakfast every day cannot help it – it is part of their reality and they firmly believe in their reality – and it can be treated as a social virus massaged by Pisces, Gemini, Cancer and Aquarius. It’s unfair to expect people who are strongly influenced by the times we live in to reject their outlook on life because they cannot help doing so. The fantasy of reality under the influence of Pisces can appear as real as a dream – until awoken! Furthermore, it is not black and white with one side the only upholder of truth (and justice) and the other side the upholder of lies and deception. Mainstream media cannot be trusted to a certain extent, and will fabricate facts to suit their purposes. The same naturally applies to politicians.
How will people wake up? There is no evidence that people wake from their dream of reality by being attacked, criticized or persecuted other than perhaps the occasional individual here or there. A person under attack will merely spurn the attacking person or opposing political view because they know they have integrity, and so when they are attacked, the attacker obviously has none. It really is a no-win situation as there is no solution in the short term under Aquarius, Cancer and Gemini with the massive Pisces age overflow in the back ground. However there is another approach.
The world is also strongly under the influence of Scorpio. The Scorpio sub-age and overflow (1791 – 1970 – 2149) has its four stage structure and the world is currently in the most potent third stage covering the period 1970 to 2059. It is in this period that the world feels the maximum instability that Scorpio brings. Scorpio is the zodiacal sign that states whatever is on the outside is unstable and vulnerable, and the only strength exists within (except for Scorpio archetypes like sex which has been reborn under the Scorpio sub-age and overflow).
Obviously with Scorpio in the mix, this does not help to bring stability or peace to the world – it promotes the opposite, which further promotes the fearsome nature of our current time on both sides of the political spectrum.[2] One side considers the other side the harbinger of everything that is fake while the other side has to deal with the dissolution of rationality and facts in the political and social arguments.
It is the inner world that Scorpio promotes, and this is one of those rare times in history where the inner world can play a bigger role. Of course, when discussing the inner world, it opens Pandora’s box and all manner of things can get lumped in together such as reincarnation, psychic experiences, religions and so on, but they are ruled by Pisces and so don’t apply in this situation. Under Scorpio, people who can draw upon or have a steadfast inner core to their being and existence are not floundering in the squalls the world throws at them – be it an economic crisis, war, pandemic, conspiracy theories, corruption and so on. The quest for inner strength or a robust inner reality is favored under Scorpio.
However, if the past is any guide, it does not stop there. Numerous avatars over the ages have provided guidance and assistance to those seeking real inner peace – and these are commonly associated with Scorpio periods. (I hope to research and blog about these previous avatars at some time in the future). However, the world does not have a good track record in responding to this radical notion that real peace and ultimate reality is an inner experience.
Also, while religions with their hundreds of millions of followers have and continue to make a big impact upon the world, their original guiding light was known by only an incredibly small number of people alive at the time. This is the track record of avatars to date. If an avatar was alive in the world today, very few people would even know about it. This is also part of Scorpio, often represented by the iceberg, with only ten percent visible and 90% hidden beneath the water. If you don’t pro-actively look, you are unlikely to find!
Each age has its benefits and challenges, and the challenge of our times seems to be how to maintain the inner strength to withstand the storm – or stormier times. Personally, there is no time previously in the world that I would prefer to be alive other than now despite the nature of today’s world. Traditionally in India, the world has been perceived as Māyā which suggests a “magic show, an illusion where things appear to be present but are not what they seem”.[3] This is a relatively accurate description of the world today (yesterday and tomorrow?) and perhaps the internet should be renamed the māyānet? A steadfast inner integrity would certainly help in coping with our deceptive world.
A person tends to go towards whatever they focus upon so if someone applies themselves towards finding their inner strength, integrity, reality or peace it increases the likelihood it will be found. Some searches may lead to a dead end, but life is about living and learning. We must focus on many things in our lives, but special attention should be placed on the focus to find inner peace or reality – especially when the external world leaves a lot to be desired!
The following table is derived from a spreadsheet I have developed for producing an ‘ephemeris’ for any age, sub-age, micro-age any even smaller periods. All that is required to produce such an ephemeris is the start and end dates (in decimal format), and the parent sign (numerically). In the following case, the parent sign is 10, as it is for the Capricorn nano-age – the 10th sign.

Because the above table is a nano-age, the twelve-fold division displayed in the Sign and O/F (overflow) columns display 1/12th of a nano-age which is a pica age. This ephemeris is only approximately accurate to the month. For example, at the time of writing this post (January 2021), it is activating Sub-period 11 as somewhere in December 2020, the nano-age moved from Pisces to Aquarius. However, the full Pisces pica age and overflow covers the period commencing somewhere in November 2020 and ending somewhere February 2021 as a pica age is about 5 weeks, and therefore a pica age and overflow is 2 x 5 – 10 weeks.
Note: Whenever a pica age straddles three month, such as the Aquarius SP11 period above, it means it commenced very late in the first month (December 2020) and will conclude very early in the last month (February 2021)
As a speculative example of how these minute pica ages may manifest, the Aquarius pica age and overflow (Dec 20 – Mar 2021) most likely covered the attempted insurrection at the US capital on January 6th 2021 taking into account that the Aquarius micro-age decan (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019) made Trump the president of the USA. Aquarius is a very disruptive sign, and Trump has been called the Great Disrupter. Aquarius rules those periods where not only the unexpected occurs – fringe ideas and extremists can take center stage. This small Aquarius period will also cover the impeachment of Trump that will most likely occur in February 2021.
Furthermore, not all sub-periods are of the same strength, as this Aquarius pica age and overflow is the sting-in-the-tail of the Aquarius nano-age decan and overflow (Sep 18 – Dec 19 – Mar 21) and therefore behaves as a litmus test for the Aquarius nano-age and overflow which itself is part of the larger and more powerful Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 14 – Dec 19 – Nov 24). This Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow is providing additional resonance with the whole Aquarius age (1433 – 3581), so this attempted insurrection in the USA by extremists Trump supporters is providing a benchmark for where the world finds itself within the Age of Aquarius. So while the Aquarius pica age measured in weeks is seemeingly insignificant, it conjures up much deeper Aquarius elements within the Age of Aquarius.
However, I do not place much emphasis on pica ages as they are the shortest and weakest sub-periods of the astrological ages I have discovered and worked with to date. If I can find just one attributable event such as the attempted US insurrection I feel like I have accomplished something. What provides firmer correlations to the unfolding events are the 5 month nano-age decans.
Based on the above ephemeris, the Capricorn nano-age decan commenced in October 2020 followed by the even more powerful Capricorn quasi nano-age a few months later in December 2020. This can readily be seen by the abject failure by what seems to be the majority of countries in the world to manage COVID-19, and Capricorn ‘punishes’ mismanagement. The greatest pall over the world from COVID-19 has only recently arrived, and also associated by the new and more virulent strains of the virus. It’s hard to see a successful conclusion to the worldwide vaccination process while Capricorn remains so strong? However, the cavalry is on the way.
In this case, the cavalry will be the Sagittarius nano-age and overflow (Mar 21 – Jun 22 – Aug 23). This appearance of Sagittarius marks the first positive and optimistic influence for some time, and suggests that by the end of this Sagittarius period in June 2022 (leading into the more powerful Sagittarius nano-age overflow), international travel and a somewhat buoyant world will reappear. Combining this positive Sagittarius influence with the Aquarius micro-age decan overflow (Dec 19 – Nov 24) and the overlapping up and coming Libra micro-age decan (Dec 19 – Nov 24), the astrological recipe for a New Roaring Twenties is firmly in place. Post COVID-19, people will want to celebrate as they did in the 1920s, where despite the devastation of the First World War and the Spanish flu, people partied hard the first chance they had!
The Roaring 20s occurred under the very last Aquarius period of note with the Aquarius quasi micro-age (1917 – 1932) representing the peak influence of the Aquarius micro-age and overflow (1910 -1925 – 1940). The current Aquarius period is only one-third as strong and one-third as long, but nevertheless, we should expect a mini Roaring 20s, especially with party-going Libra in the mix.
The commencement of mass immunization against COVID-19 has started, but will it work? The astrology is interesting and while it is not an overly important issue, it does once again demonstrate how sub-periods of the Age of Aquarius operate. COVID-19 appeared by December 2019, the very month a number of cusps for sub-periods occurred within the Age of Aquarius (see table 1 below).

December 2019 saw the end and thus peak of the Aquarius micro-age decan (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019) and the beginning of the more powerful Aquarius micro-age overflow (Dec 2019 – Nov 2024). Aquarius brings sudden and unexpected events plus is the key sign for disruption in the zodiac. Such examples of disruption, other than COVID-19, include the election of the Great Disrupter, Donald Trump in the USA and Brexit in the UK. The disruption brought by the COVID-19 is the greatest disruption the world has experience since the mid-20th century (the last time an Aquarius sub-period of magnitude affected the world) and therefore the greatest disruption most people alive today have experienced in their lives.
All sub-periods smaller than a micro-age decan (except quasi periods) also had cusps in December 2019, and the most relevant for the purpose of vaccination against COVID-19 is the beginning of the Capricorn nano-age and overflow (Dec 2019 – Mar2021 – Jun 2022) (see table 2).

This Capricorn nano-age and overflow is strategically placed under the shadow of the much larger Cancer micro-age overflow (Dec 2014 – Nov 2029) (see table 3 below). Cancer is a common sign in pandemics, as Cancer promotes perimeters, which allegorically insinuates it rules the immune system which is the outer defense for any organism. Certainly the sign Cancer factored strongly in all the three major pandemics the world has experienced to date (the three Bubonic plagues), and so its presence in the environment for of COVID-19 supports this connection between Cancer and immunity, or more correctly – lack of immunity.

If Cancer is aligned to a weakened immune response by society to COVID-19, it could be construed that Capricorn will work in the other direction due to Capricorn being the opposite sign to Cancer? However, this is not how it works. The presence of Cancer places a focus upon immunity, but this focus can be positive or negative, whereas the opposition from Capricorn is always detrimental due to the negative nature of the opposition aspect.
Also, Capricorn is better known for bringing problems, so will Capricorn bring problems for the COVID-19 vaccines, or benefits? Furthermore, many problems associated with Capricorn are the result of lack of wisdom, which can manifest as cutting corners. There is no doubt, that in the rush to get COVID-19 vaccines to market, the normal checks and preliminary testings’ have been short circuited or drastically reduced.
Capricorn’s association with time also suggests that there is no guarantee over time that negative side-effects will not appear, as in place of years of testing and observation, there have only been months, so there is no indemnity against side effects that may mar the vaccination landscape over the longer term. Capricorn does not like jumping into any situation quickly, or shoot first and ask questions later scenarios. When these occur under Capricorn’s watch, a frowning saturnine god usually puts a spanner in the works.
Will Capricorn strengthened society’s backbone enabling society to fight off COVID-19, or will it all come unstuck? Taking into account that up to 80% or more of the native inhabitants in the Americas died from illnesses brought to the continent by the invading Europeans[1] occurred under the first sub-age in the Age of Aquarius – the Capricorn sub-age decan and overflow (1433 – 1612 – 1791), this does not support a positive outcome for the COVID-19 pandemic due to the much smaller Capricorn nano-age and overflow. The susceptibility of American natives to European diseases was because the indigenous population had no (Cancer) immune protection against diseases they previously had not encountered.
The term “vaccination” was coined in 1800. Though there were some positive attempts to vaccinate against smallpox well before this,[2] it seems the modern vaccination revolution occurred under the Cancer sub-age decan and overflow (1791 – 1851 – 1925). Therefore the appearance of Cancer periods can promote issues associated with immunity, ether negative or positive, or both, but Capricorn destabilizes Cancer and thus immune issues are undermined.
It is more likely that the current emerging Capricorn environment is counter-productive to Cancer vaccines, and with the Capricorn nano-age and overflow peaking in March 2021, we will not have long to find out? The problems Capricorn brings in the coming period may merely relate to lack of enthusiasm by the general public to get immunized until they are sure everything is OK.

A certain percentage of the population must get immunized for the vaccine to work in any community. Also, problematic issues have already shown up with some vaccines already, and it may take some time to work out these issues.
Many governments are managing COVID-19 at the lowest common denominator, meaning that they are grabbing at straws, and any straw will do. The USA is the worst responder to COVID-19 in the world, and the UK has the same status in Europe. Both these nations are at the lead of the international charge to vaccinate their populations due to their inabilities to effectively manage the pandemic. This gross dysfunction is representative of the current lack of social cohesion in both countries, especially the USA, and countries need cohesion in the face of threats. This dysfunction is promoting cutting corners.
It must be remembered, that under the influence of the Cancer micro-age overflow (Dec 2014 – Nov 2029), the world is at a low ebb for effective management, shrewdness and wisdom by governments, which is reflected in the rise of (Cancer) populous leaders and policies based on emotional responses and generally lack strategic value. But populace leaders and policies make many voters happy – especially the (Cancer) common folk who have little understanding of economics or politics – but are cognizant enough to know they are being screwed, and will naturally attach themselves to anything or anyone who will seemingly solve their problems.
The first significant positive boost for the post-COVID-19 world will not occur until the business half of the coming Sagittarius nano-age and overflow (Mar 2021 – Jun 2022 – Aug 2023) (see table 2 above) and so until around June 2022, or at least the arrival of the Sagittarius quasi nano-age (Oct 2021 – Jan 2023), the cold hand of Capricorn is the main player and will continue stirring the cauldron. While Capricorn is rarely the herald of good news, Sagittarius is brimming with good fortune, and even as early as March 2021, glimmers of optimism should appear. If this good fortune does not arrive until sometime between October 2021 and June 2022, what is happening beforehand? It’s hard to see a successful worldwide vaccination process occurring before this time? The arrival of Sagittarius suggests the return to normal international travel that also insinuates that the COVID-19 crisis has come to an end.
The beginning of any age or sub-period is always the absolute weakest time for the zodiacal sign involved, however, a distinct step is made at beginnings, and these are usually noticeable. For example both Brexit (June 2016) and the election of Donald Trump (November 2016) provided clear evidence of the rising fortunes of Aquarius, despite these two significant events occurring in the first and weakest quarter of the Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019 – Nov 2024. The election of Joe Biden in November 2020 also qualifies as indicative of the arrival of the new Libra micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2019 – Nov 2024 – Nov 2029) espousing his new middle of the road policies and agenda.
Finally, the Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019 – Nov 2024) remains firmly in place, and while disruptive Aquarius remains powerful, we should not expect normality to reappear quickly. Fortunately, the Aquarius quasi micro-age decan (Jun 2017 – Jun 2022) indicates a reduction in the influence of Aquarius from around mid-2022, and taking into account the soon to appear Sagittarius nano-age and overflow (Mar 2021 – Jun 2022 – Aug 2023), which enters its business half in June 2022, the same month that the Aquarius quasi micro-age decan drops down a level.
Mid 2022 is looking to be the most reliable for some significant return to a less disruptive world – but even then, the world will not be out of the woods. The final Aquarius sting-in-the tail of the Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow corresponds to the Aquarius nano-age decan (Jan – Nov 2024) of the Libra nano-age situated at the very end of the Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 2014 – Dec 2019 – Nov 2024). It could also represent the highpoint of a new Roaring 20s.
Despite problems and hindrances, any delays in getting the vaccines working properly should not be an extended issue, but until mid-2021, there are no guarantees!
I have received queries from a number of people about how long the world will be inconvenienced by COVID-19 or when will international travel return to normal? COVID-19 was recognized in December 2019 and December 2019 was a significant month in the sub-periods of the Age of Aquarius (1433 – 3574) as December 2019 saw the highpoint in of the Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow (Dec 14 – Dec 19 – Nov 24) deep within the Age of Aquarius (which internally is multi-layered like an onion).
Based on evidence from the Spanish flu epidemic (Mar 1918 – March 1920), it appears that COVID-19 has hitched a ride on the approximate 10 years Aquarius micro-age decan and overflow, and the second half (Dec – 19 – Nov 24) could easily propel COVID-19 to the midway point located at June 2022 based on how the Spanish flu progressed in its day.
June 2022 for the proposed end period of COVID-19 is supported by smaller periods within the Aquarius micro-age decan overflow (Dec 19 – Nov 24). December also saw the beginning of the Capricorn nano-age and overflow (Dec 19 – Mar 21 – Jun 22) (see Table 1) and Capricorn brings bad news, depressions, restrictions and hardships – just to get a drift of the dark side of Capricorn. Its most potent time for subduing the world will be July 2020 to Oct 2021.

Following and overlapping with the Capricorn nano-age and overflow is the Sagittarius nano-age and overflow (Mar 21 – Jun 22 – Aug 23) (see Table 1 above) and Sagittarius is the sign that boosts optimism, good economic circumstances and international travel. It will peak in June 2022 and the period June 2022 to January 2023 (see Table 2 below) will have Sagittarius pumping. It can be safe to say that international travel will see its best period following COVID-19 in this period, and some noticeable signs of a pickup in the international economy and international travel should be percolating as early as October 2021, with another boost in January 2022 as international travel slowly pulls itself out of the doldrums leading to June 2022.

The main unknown in the above analysis is that December 2019 also saw within the Capricorn nano-age, the Virgo nano-age decan and overflow (Dec 19 – May 20 – Oct 20) and Virgo is the main sign for public health issues (see Table 3 below ). The second half of this Virgo period (May 20 – Oct 20) is the strongest half, and this has clearly manifested as the number of daily cases of COVID-19 in the world since May 2020 has gone ballistic compared to the first half.

With the end of the Virgo nano-age decan and overflow in October 2020, this may mean the end of the epidemic? It may, but may not, and this is the great uncertainty associated with COVID-19. Is the subdued outlook from the Capricorn nano-age and overflow (Dec 19 – Mar 21 – Jun 22) just a continuation of the epidemic until mid-2022, or is it some other element, perhaps triggered by COVID-19 but not directly associated with a public health issue – such as economic turmoil or some other major international problem?
There is a chance that the COVID-19 epidemic gets stopped in its tracks before the end of 2020 – perhaps a vaccine is available? However, while I am uncertain about what occurs between October 2020 and June 2022, it does not support normal international travel. For the really keen international traveler, mark October 2021 to get ready to pounce on any travel opportunities. Otherwise, plan your next international trip for the period of June 2022 to January 2023. The good fortune associated with the Sagittarius may only last about 15 months before another time of instability arrives – but not necessarily associated with health.
1969 occurred in the 20 year period assigned to “Age of Aquarius”, which in American urban mythology, spanned the two decades of the 1960s and 70s. However, within these two decades, much fanfare is made about 1969. Taking this one step further, in the July 2019 edition of NewStatesmanAmerica is the article: “1969: One month to change the world”where the author, David Hepworth, promotes the conjecture that August 1969 was the key month in 1969 with far reaching effects.
1969 is strongly associated with a key point within the Age of Aquarius. Ages can be divided into 12 sub-ages, and in 1970, the Scorpio sub-age (1791 – 1970), not only came to its end, it also came to its strongest and most prominent point of power. 1970 saw the end of the Scorpio sub-age, and beginning of the Scorpio sub-age overflow (coinciding with the Libra sub-age), which is even more powerful in the manifestation of Scorpio archetypes, at least to the midway point of the Libra sub-age in 2059. This is due to the Overflow Effect. [see The Age of Aquarius for Dummies for details on the Overflow Effect]
One major point of substantiation that Scorpio was peaking around 1970 is that since 1970, humans have never before so trash and degraded the world environment treating the whole world, including the oceans and atmosphere, as a garbage dump. Scorpio is the sign of garbage. Scorpio is also the sign of atoms and therefor nuclear bombs and energy. The proliferation of both nuclear weapons and energy are further testaments to Scorpio at its peak. Despite 1970 being situated at the exact peak of Scorpio, 1969 commonly stands out as a year of drama and change. Also, with the cusp of the sub-ages in 1970, the expected switch from Scorpio to Libra was May 1970. So from sometime in May 1969 onward, it was in the last 12 months of the potent Scorpio sub-age.
According to Wikipedia, 1969 was:
“associated with the first manned landing on the Moon (Apollo 11), the creation of the internet, and the commencement of the LGBT Rights Movement.”[1]
All three of the items are strongly associated with Scorpio. Outer space is associated with Scorpio. LGBT is associated with sex, and thus Scorpio. The internet’s association to Scorpio is a little more problematic for many astrologers, but this is an excellent example of how zodiacal archetypes constantly update themselves to evolving situations – after all, when zodiacal archetypes were first developed thousands of years ago, there was no internet. However, the relationship between the internet and Scorpio arises due to the nature of the medium. In the Taurus age (especially its overflow), Taurus manifested as pyramids, massive stone temples and henges – all very solid examples of fixed-earth Taurus. Scorpio has the opposite quality to Taurus, it lacks solidity. This describes the internet, a virtual cultural wraith or ghost that only appears as dots on a screen. The internet is a reality – but a virtual reality. This is its connection to Scorpio.
Not only was 1969 in the Scorpio sub-age (1791 – 1970), but in deeper wheels-within-wheels, the final micro-age at the end of the Scorpio sub-age was the Scorpio micro-age (1955 – 1970). Table 1 displays the start dates for the 12 micro-ages within the Scorpio sub-age (1791 – 1970):

Drilling down further, Table 2 displays that February 1969 to May 1970 was the Scorpio nano-age, and so this Scorpio nano-age had punch way above a normal nano-age as it sits in the Scorpio shadows of the Scorpio micro-age and Scorpio sub-age (not to mention the Scorpio sub-age decan (1910 -1970). A Scorpio event of this strength can only occur once every age (around every 2,000 years). The last time was around 8BC.

Scoprio was not the only notable zodiacal sign in 1969 as Sagittarius was experiencing a ‘homeopathic’ peak at the same time. The Scorpio nano-age (February 1969 to May 1970) is also the same timeframe as the Sagittarius nano-age overflow, and this Sagittarius nano-age overflow was resonating with the Sagittarius micro-age overflow (1955 – 1970) which again was resonating with the massive Sagittarius sub-age overflow (1791 – 1970) that formed following the Sagittarius sub-age (1612 – 1791). Therefore, Sagittarius was also at a highpoint, but not of the same magnitude as Scorpio. The last time that Sagittarius was at the same magnitude as Scorpio was in 1969-70 was in the period 1790-91. However, Sagittarius does make a modest appearance in 1969 and 1970 and it also possibly expands and broadcasts widely whatever is happening associated to the Scorpio pinnacle.
The following are some notable events (excluding August 1969) in the Scorpio nano-age (February 1969 to May 1970), which is the same time period as the Sagittarius nano-age age overflow, and can be also labelled the Sagittarius-Scorpio nano-age:

According to David Hepworth, in this one month, the world supposedly dramatically changed with a succession of cultural shocks – highlighted by the moon landing, the murder of Sharon Tate and others by Manson and his followers, the Woodstock festival and the Beatles’ walk across the Abbey Road zebra crossing. ( See the full details by David Hepworth). Many additional noteworthy events, at least in retrospect, also occurred in this month – including the first letters received from the Zodiac Killer in San Francisco – the Zodiac Killer has never been identified. In Vedic astrology, the (Scorpio) 8th house is the house of astrology.
British Army troops began what would become an almost 38-year presence in Northern Ireland as more than 300 soldiers arrived at Derry to end three days of rioting called the “Battle of the Bogside”. “Operation Banner” would extend until 2007 with 2007 located in the next high-point for Scorpio after 1970 – the Scorpio micro-age decan (April 2005 – January 2010). Ireland is closely associated with Scorpio’s opposite sign – Taurus, and the Battle of Bogside was in reality an attempted revolution by the Catholic minority against the majority pro-British Protestants .
The first publicized revolt of American soldiers in the Vietnam War took place when “A” Company of the 196th Brigade of the Americal Division refused to obey the orders of the lieutenant who was commanding them – the lieutenant was reassigned the next day. ( Classic example of Scorpio revolution).
The withdrawal of 25,000 American troops from the Vietnam War, ordered by U.S. President Nixon in the first cutback of the U.S. commitment to Southeast Asia, was completed – marking the beginning of the end of the whole travesty of European invaders of Viet Nam.
The “poverty line” now in use by the United States government was first announced. Although the amount would be adjusted for inflation to reflect changes in the Consumer Price Index, the definition of the poverty level would remain unchanged for the next fifty years. (Scorpio rules poverty!)
The first hijacking, outside of the Western Hemisphere, took place when a TWA flight from Rome to Tel Aviv was commandeered by terrorist Leila Khaled and an accomplice who was a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. They boarded the flight at Rome’s Fiumicino airport with carry-on luggage that included pistols and hand grenades, forced her way into the airplane’s cabin, and dropped the pin of one of the grenades at the pilot’s feet, and ordered him to fly the Boeing 707 to Damascus. After the plane landed, the 95 passengers and the 12 crew were allowed to evacuate. Khaled and Issawi then threw the grenades into the cockpit and destroyed the front section of the jet, which would later be repaired and returned to use by TWA. (Terrorists are classic examples of a Scorpio archetype.)
The very first Interface Message Processor (IMP), a set of electronic switches designed to communicate from one computer to others on a network, was delivered to as the first part of the ARPANET computer network, predecessor to the Internet. This alone would highlight August 1969 as the most influential month of our times due to the massive and ongoing change in the world subsequent to this tiny development. The final issue, does August 1969 have any special astrological configuration making it stand out from the other months in the same Scorpio nano-age? I could find nothing, and it is probably just a subjective analysis by David Hepworth. However, it has been stated that the Woodstock festival of music ‘defined a generation’. From the astrological perspective, Woodstock did not define a generation, it defined the next significant epoch of socio-political revolution in western society that will last centuries. It will be even more evident in the second half of the 21st century.
